Commercial AE

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced insurance professional to join our team of account executives at Hosket Ulen Insurance Solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys being part of a team, building and growing a book of commercial business with a team of risk advisors, and is fluent with technology to create meaningful and timely customer experiences. The Account Executive is client-focused and will work closely with our partner carriers to provide personalized solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding client needs and developing personalized commercial insurance solutions
  • Assessing and advising colleagues and clients on applications and policy changes
  • Acting as a technical lead advising others on policy language, coverages, and market appetite of insurance carriers
  • Delegating transactional changes with internal customer success team
  • Maintaining quality files and documenting client and carrier interactions
  • Growing and developing talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level
  • Keeping current on rates, forms, and coverage changes through circulars, bulletins, trade publications, seminars and schools offered.
  • Participating in account planning with sales team
  • Utilizing technology to create the best possible client experience
  • Monitoring client experience with claims to solidify trust and align claimants with partner carriers
  • Demonstrating continuous improvement of industry-specific knowledge that aligns with the current and future needs of our clients

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining commercial book of business
  • Proven track record of success as an account executive or account manager
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • In office requirement with hybrid capabilities

SBU Team Lead

The SBU Lead is responsible for defining, operationalizing, and managing the customer experience for small business client segments within the agency. This role combines strategic program development, client experience design, and operational leadership to
ensure the agency delivers consistent, scalable, and differentiated service. The SBU Lead will serve as the architect of specialized programs, bridging the gap between producers, account managers, carrier partners, and clients.

Core Responsibilities:

Program Strategy & Development

  • Develop, automate, implement, and refine specialized insurance programs
  • Identify client needs, market gaps, and industry trends to build differentiated offerings.
  • Define the long-term strategy for niche programs, ensuring alignment with agency growth objectives.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate and prioritize new program opportunities.

Customer Experience Design

  • Map and manage the end-to-end client journey, ensuring consistency, value, and quality at every touchpoint.
  • Develop client onboarding processes that set clear expectations and deliver a seamless first impression.
  • Standardize communications, reporting, and renewal processes to enhance transparency and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and respond to client feedback, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Create repeatable processes and workflows to deliver programs efficiently and at scale.
  • Collaborate with account managers to implement best practices in servicing niche clients.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure program performance, client satisfaction, and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.

Collaboration & Growth Enablement

  • Work closely with producers to support business development efforts by presenting program value to prospects.
  • Collaborate with marketing resources to design program materials, case studies, and industry thought leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners to negotiate enhanced program terms and strengthen offerings.
  • Mentor and train internal staff to deliver service aligned with the program’s standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, program management, or related leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance.
  • Proven ability to design and implement operational processes and service models.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in KPI development, program measurement, and reporting.
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty (or must obtain in first 30 days of hire).

Personal Insurance Relationship Leader

As a Personal Insurance Relationship Leader, you take full ownership of your client relationships, from first conversation through long-term retention and growth.

You lead with accountability, follow through on commitments, and take pride in delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience.
You are relationship-driven and sales-minded, comfortable initiating conversations, identifying opportunities, and recommending solutions across all personal lines of insurance. You think proactively, anticipate client needs, and guide decisions with confidence and professionalism.

You stay sharp by embracing technology, tools, and learning. You use systems and data to stay organized, work efficiently, and continuously improve how clients are served. You adapt quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and remain curious in a changing insurance landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage relationships for a portfolio of personal insurance clients, including high-value and complex accounts
  • Build trust through proactive outreach, thoughtful coverage conversations, and consistent follow-through
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities across all personal lines of business through consultative discussions
  • Initiate and lead sales discussions with new and existing clients, including outreach and follow-up as needed
  • Assess client exposures and make clear, confident coverage recommendations aligned with client goals
  • Partner with team members to ensure timely, accurate execution of policy changes and requests
  • Support clients through claims, coverage changes, and policy questions with empathy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and policy records using agency technology and CRM tools
  • Collaborate with teammates to improve workflows, client experience, and overall outcomes
  • Operate within agency E&O guidelines while consistently acting with integrity and accountability
